The Boat

We are fundraising to purchase the MV Teal by May 1, 2018.

This beautiful, 63 foot cruiser, will allow us to

  • offer reliable & flexible service
  • accommodate larger classes and groups
  • support volunteer monitoring by lake organizations
  • design wind- and solar-powered onboard systems
  • introduce and eco-tourism program that will share our story and sustain our community education and access mission!
How much is needed?   We've planned a multi-faceted funding strategy that includes local tourism programs, foundation grants, corporate sponsors, and individuals.  Overall, we need to raise $180,000 to complete this purchase before May 1, 2018.  We are on our way, and will provide updates as we go.

Our Next Milestone:  $10,000 by December 31, 2017.

Make Your Contribution Count!  A generous sponsor has offered to match every donation received before December 31, 2017, dollar for dollar! That's right - you donate $100 and we'll receive $200. Donate $1000 and we'll receive $2000!
